Job overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Head of Marketing with a strong technical background, and willingness to be hands-on while building out our Marketing function.  Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be an instrumental figure in our leadership team, entrusted with spearheading the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy. This pivotal role involves promoting our engineering services and software products, as well as cultivating our employer brand. Working closely with the engineering and sales teams, you will craft messaging, shape brand positioning, and orchestrate marketing campaigns tailored to resonate with our target audience. Your innovative campaigns will aim to amplify brand recognition, boost customer engagement, and stimulate revenue growth. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a holistic marketing strategy in alignment with the company's objectives, catering to both our consulting business and software products
  • Develop an evidence-based understanding of our primary audiences, conducting experiments and engaging with members of our target demographic through interviews
  • Build a leading brand that inspires trust among clients, prospects, candidates, and employees
  • Create and oversee the production of high-quality, relevant content across various channels
  • Manage the projects, processes, channels, and people to deliver on company objectives
  • Support Sales and Business Development by optimizing email marketing outreach messages and creating relevant content for campaigns, conferences, and prospect meetings
  • Harness the potential of social media platforms to enhance brand visibility, encourage engagement, and establish thought leadership
  • Drive organic search growth through effective keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO enhancements

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Demonstrated track record as a Marketing leader with experience marketing high-end, high-commitment technology products or services to executives and professionals
  • Proficiency across various marketing functions, encompassing communications, branding, digital strategies, essential digital marketing tools, and social media
  • Background in software engineering and/or a deep understanding of technology and the engineering community
  • Ability to manage multiple diverse projects concurrently, consistently meeting deadlines while adeptly handling stakeholders, staff, and consultants
  • Possess a data and audience-focused mindset, utilizing metrics to guide decisions and actions
  • Strong command of written and spoken English that considers the needs of both native and non-native speakers of US English.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; characterized by high-quality written and verbal communications tailored to the audience
