As a Senior Content Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our content strategy. You'll be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content across various channels, including blogs, customer emails, social media, web content, and presentations.
- Ensure the highest quality of written content by copyediting and drafting blogs, articles, and other written materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Marketing and Communications, Product Marketing, Customer Engagement, and Engineering to gather information and insights to create compelling narratives.
- Develop and execute effective customer emails and email marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall content strategy.
- Manage and create engaging social media copy that resonates with our audience and promotes brand awareness for social media platforms, including X, LinkedIn, and others.
- Contribute to the development of web content, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and effectively communicates key messages.
- Collaborate with design and marketing colleagues to create impactful presentations for internal and external use.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to ensure Mapbox content remains relevant and competitive.
- 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in content marketing, copywriting, and editing.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize between simultaneous tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and cross-timezone environment.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- Experience creating content for developer and/or technical audiences is a plus.
- Familiarity with technology, mapping, or geospatial industry is a plus.
