Shift4 is on a mission to become the leading globally-enabled payments platform across mature and emerging markets. This position is pivotal to Shift4’s global expansion strategy and will require dynamic leadership in a rapidly evolving payments landscape. As expansion lead you will be tasked with enabling strategic partnerships with acquirers and banks as well as Local Payment Method providers, and lead all product expansion and payment enablement workstreams. The position will focus heavily on the global expansion merchant experience and be responsible for defining and delivering product capabilities to enable growth and best in class experiences. 

 This is a remote - based role that can be based in the U.S. / Central & South America / Europe and other locations are considered as well


  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive global partnership strategy to address all aspect of the global expansion merchant journey
  • Collaborate with regional Strategy and Product team members to prioritize key areas of expansion needed for delivery of best in class capabilities
  • Develop and execute Product initiatives that align with Shift4’s overall Global expansion strategy across key markets and segments
  • Guide Product & Technology teams in the development of new products to enable partners and expand platform capabilities
  • Analyzing performance results and optimize accordingly
  • Communicate global payment trends, rules, and opportunities with internal stakeholders
  • Stay on top of local regulatory/licensing requirements and how changes may impacts our business
  • Work closely with the commercial team to evangelize ongoing roadmap investments and solicit feedback



  • 10+ years of product management experience in card, wallet or bank payments
  • Experience in building and managing relationships with external senior business leaders and across partner organizations
  • International experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient in understanding the payments landscape, with the skills to comprehend and interpret emerging trends.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable and self-sufficient operating within a complex global environment
  • Full professional proficiency in English
