Job Description

Reverb is looking for a software engineer to join our SEO team. The team focuses on sitewide performance to improve our SEO ranking. In the coming months, we also expect to build a new mid-funnel experience to help our buyers find the right gear for them. This team's work will be at the heart of the future of online shopping for musical instruments, allowing Reverb to build groundbreaking features connecting buyers to the products they're looking for. You'll join this team as it begins to set the new foundation for our mid-funnel experience and will have the chance to make your mark on our team and business quickly.

What does the day-to-day look like?

• Establish and maintain the new mid-funnel experience.
• Implement and measure site performance improvements.
• Collaborate with designers on new site features.
• Collaborate with SEO experts to improve search rankings

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-stack experience developing web applications (We primarily use Ruby/Rails, React/Typescript, and GraphQL)
• You understand that being an effective software engineer is as much about communicating with people as writing code.
• You consider trade-offs consider and additional perspectives when making a technical decision.
• You are always looking to further your understanding of software development and for opportunities to grow your skills and those of others.

Nice to Have

• Experience with working with marketing or SEO
• Experience with GraphQL
