About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer who will be our first security hire and will be responsible for developing our security strategy. As a member of the Platform Engineering team you will be responsible for various aspects of our security, such as cloud, network, and SDLC. This is a greenfield area.

Your responsibilities:

Working closely with our talented developers to develop our shift left strategy

Integrating security tooling into our CI/CD pipelines, such as static analysis tools, vulnerability scanners etc

Planning & implementing security measures & controlsDeveloping security scenarios & running wargaming sessions

Training developers on security best practices

Requirements to succeed in the role:

Previous experience in a similar security role

Experience working in software development

Experience working with kubernetes, code analysis tools (static analysis, vulnerability scanners etc)

Communication and people skills

Bonus points if you have:

SysAdmin/DevOps experience

Github actions

Terraform

Typescript

Linux

AWS

Micro services

Penetration testing
