Essential duties in this role include conducting in-depth keyword research, implementing optimization tactics across our content library, and monitoring performance of our efforts. The role demands being comfortable supporting aggressive content objectives and a passion for staying on top of evolving SEO best practices and the emerging AI landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor performance of existing content to identify underperforming articles, enhancement opportunities, and prioritize accordingly.
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to expand on our content library and identify new topic areas to compete in.
In-depth optimization work such as internal linking, keyword enrichment, adding assets, updating outdated content, and identifying information gaps.
Assist programmatic content strategies with research and quality assurance checks.
Conduct assessments on our positioning in emerging AI tools such as Google's SGE, Chatgpt, and Perplexity
Suggest innovative SEO techniques and propose experimental elements to enhance content visibility and distinction.
Learn our product inside-out and become a subject matter expert.

What you’ll need:

4+ years of experience in a SEO role working with long-form content strategies
Contemporary knowledge of B2B SaaS models and their connection to effective SEO growth strategies.
Experience working with large lists of keywords and understanding of the SERPs at a macro level.
Passion for staying current in the constantly changing environment of SEO and content marketing.
Editorial eye and understanding of big picture tradeoffs between AI-generated and bespoke content.
Proficiency with Wordpress
Creative and solutions-oriented thinking, combined with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
Knowledge of AI functionality and potential use cases for content and SEO.
Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills
