Although the role is remote, it has to be based in the UK and/or Ireland. We prefer to hire perm, but can offer as inside of IR35 as well - we cannot offer outside of IR35.
Responsibilities:
- This position is considered level 3/4 help desk support.
- Must have excellent customer focus and communication, friendly interaction, and a passion to help customers with their software issues.
- Provide technical expertise required by application support team.
- Ability to troubleshoot customer issues in an environment where online and remotely connected to the customer’s systems.
- Must have ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.
- Drive customer satisfaction by tracking issues from start to closure.
- Occasional after hours, weekends and holiday support including participating in on-call rotation.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of Oracle EBS (10g, 11i, 12.1 - 12.2) Application troubleshooting processes startup/shutdown, patching, workflows, concurrent manager issues, mailer configuration, SSL and HTTPS, JWS, installs and cloning
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle Database including the EBS database, and Real Application Clusters (RAC)
- Good knowledge of Middleware including WebLogic, SSO and SOA
- EBS migrations (on-prem to AWS/Azure/GCP) experience
