What We Do

Swimply is an online marketplace that allows homeowners to share their passion spaces with their local communities. We started with swimming pools which took us to $20M+ in 2 years, but pools are just the beginning. We’re creating a new category within local experiences. Think AirBnB for swimming pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, and homes by the hour!

The Role

Our Senior Growth Product Manager makes it possible for people to find Swimply, discover the value we offer, and make it an indispensable part of their lives. We’re a small but mighty and rapidly growing team, and we are looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves. This role will be very hands-on and will help shape what our growth team and infrastructure will look like as we scale.

Bring the world to Swimply - We make sure we show up everywhere customers might need our service. When customers google “Local things to do,” we’re there. When they ask a friend how they should celebrate the weekend, they get a referral code toward their first order. When they complete a booking, we make sure all the friends they’re inviting to the Swimply, are invited to sign up too.

When users arrive at Swimply, they will have an array of perfectly priced pools and a check flow that has them swimming before they even realize they clicked “Book now.”

If they are Space owners, their onboarding flow has them hosting in minutes with perfectly customized messaging per demographic and influential design to ensure hosts adapt the best settings and optimized pricing.

Change the way people live, earn, celebrate and escape-one dip at a time.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to determine what metrics matter for our business and how to use product to move them. From Host onboarding and search optimization to brand new features like trip invites, you will lead the strategy and team responsible for bringing all of these projects to life.
  • Analyze the user lifecycle, including the activation, retention, dormancy, and resurrection phases and deploy experiments to improve the lifetime value (LTV) and decrease churn.
  • Lead data-driven customer segmentation (behavioral, demographic) & conduct growth experiments, A/B and multivariate tests, and funnel analysis.
  • Partner on product strategy for experiences that cross growth and core products.
  • Collaborate closely with various cross functional partners (e.g. marketing, core product, engineering, customer service & experiences teams).
  • Conduct data analysis in partnership with the data team to investigate issues or research product decisions.
  • Run a series of market validation tactics, including market research studies, customer research, behavior data research, prototyping, painted door tests, pilots, and a/b tests.
  • Increase engagement via frequency, intensity and feature adoption. Determine casual, core and power users, and create retention charts to view average retention per cohorts over time.
  • Continuously refine our onboarding and booking flows for Hosts and Guests to ensure that they are efficient and friction-free
  • Lead a team of engineers and designers responsible for achieving product KPIs that propel our business forward
  • Requirements:

  • 4+ years Product Management experience at a consumer marketplace, with at least 1+ years in a dedicated Growth position
  • Knowledge of modern marketing tech stacks, e.g. Segment and Amplitude
  • Live and breathe experimentation and data analysis
  • Creative problem solver who can weigh and articulate trade-offs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You bring focus, structure and discipline
  • You have strong product vision, instincts, and empathy for the customer experience. You have a track record for building products that demonstrate these skills, and can tell us all about them
  • Benefits

  • You’ll work as a thought partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership team
  • You’ll be getting in early to make a key impact at a consumer marketplace startup that is experiencing rocket ship growth
  • You’ll play a critical role in building Swimply from the ground up, including influencing our culture, core values, who we end up hiring, and how we build and roll out world-class practices and processes
  • You’ll experience unlimited growth opportunities as the company grows, scales and matures
  • You’ll be part of a team that is mission-driven, works hard, plays hard (generally in and around swimming pools 😎) and is in service to our community of users
  • You’ll be working with founders and an executive team that have startup experience and have helped their companies achieve massive scale
  • Compensation consists of a strong equity package commensurate with experience and seniority of the role along with base salary.
  • This employer gathers applications via their own applicant tracking system.
You will be redirected to an external application form.
