POSITION SUMMARY

Content marketing at Cordial is critical to building awareness of our company, creating demand, telling the brand story, and using our voice to engage audiences across channels. We’re seeking a Senior Content Marketing Manager with vast experience creating high-performing and engaging content experiences across paid, earned, and owned media. This individual knows how words and visuals combine to break through in the B2B space and excels at developing compelling short-form, long-form, and educational content that fuels marketing programs across channels. Our ideal candidate is a passionate, experienced content marketer with a passion for bringing brands to life through storytelling—and proven success in driving results, through building and executing well-rounded content marketing strategies.

YOU WILL

  • Create a robust content strategy including managing content calendars, editorial plans, journey maps, and measurement plans.
  • Develop powerful new content including articles, case studies, tutorials, infographics, product one-sheeters, videos, social media content, email nurture content, thought leadership, and educational content with an emphasis on creativity and innovation.
  • Identify new content opportunities, storylines, and formats that build the Cordial brand and help us stand out in the martech space.
  • Partner across marketing (brand, field, product, performance, and client) to develop and execute content promotion and distribution plans spanning relevant website, blog, social channels, and email nurture paid, owned, and earned media channels.
  • Consistently deliver compelling short-form content in many forms including written, video/audio, visualizations, and more.
  • Create compelling storylines for external presentations and audiences and collaborate on storylines for media.
  • Define content marketing objectives and set goals, develop measurement plans, and actively monitor and measure content performance.
  • Create content for different audiences and channels, including social media, showing versatility and knowledge of what best performs in each environment.

ABOUT YOU

  • 7+ years of content marketing experience in a fast-paced B2B SaaS company, marketing technology is a bonus.
  • Strong track record of creating incredible content that pushes boundaries and drives results across a range of mediums and channels.
  • Strong grasp of B2B marketing and content marketing fundamentals.
  • Ability to adapt messaging and copy for different marketing channels, understanding how headlines, themes, and copy work in a variety of digital advertising formats.
  • Ability to analyze data from surveys, benchmarks, studies, and other sources to develop themes, trends, and storylines for content marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation), with an eye for quality, creativity, and shaping powerful narratives that resonate with marketers.
  • Experience partnering with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Ability to research, understand, and distill a complex technical product or feature and translate to easily digestible content that engages audiences at all stages of their buying journey.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to organize and manage large projects and shift competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with little direction.
  • Strong presentation skills including the ability to craft and tell stories that persuade and inspire.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and resourcefully in a startup environment.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Monday, Trello, and Asana.
  • Experience with keyword research and SEO content optimization.
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms and email service providers.
  • Video editing skills and design software capabilities (Canva, Creative Cloud) are a plus.
  • Experience with mentoring or leading others, or agency and vendor management preferred. May oversee and mentor a small team of content strategists or specialists.
  • Experience with budget management preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$120,000.00-$160,000.00 annually. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location. In combination with base salary, Cordial's compensation package includes equity and bonus, a robust benefit plan (medical/dental/vision/life), 401k match, flexible time off. Additionally, we offer perks such as monthly wellness and cell phone stipends, childcare and continued education yearly reimbursements.
