Everbridge is seeking Junior Software Engineers to join our Auckland engineering team. You will be part of a team that develops our new cross-platform application aimed at delivering critical messages and safety-related tools to help keep employees safe, as well as extend our APIs to service the new app.

Our tech stack is diverse, and we welcome engineers who are eager to learn and grow while embracing new challenges. While the project primarily utilizes Flutter and Java, we encourage candidates with experience in other technologies to apply.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications and APIs.
  • Assist in technical discussions and contribute insights to enhance architecture, scalability, and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, learn from constructive feedback, and grow as a developer.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of mobile applications and APIs.
  • What you'll bring:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A strong foundation in software development principles and practices.
  • Interest in solving complex problems that help keep people safe.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Familiarity with large codebases or enterprise-grade software is a plus.
