ABOUT THE ROLEThis role offers you the opportunity to seed the founding of a new business line built from early technology and product market fit developed within the historic operations of HyperionDev.
You will be supported with the resources and talent to research, build, test, and launch minimum viable products, and work towards acquiring the first customers for a seed idea (selected from a list of potential business ideas) that has been partially conceptualised and incubated within the normal operations of HyperionDev. These business concepts relate to generative AI, tech education, testing, certification and the remote-first economy.
The role will also offer you the opportunity to completely spin out a business concept with seed investment provided by HyperionDev itself (with a founder-level equity stake in this business), or to transition into a full-time executive role at HyperionDev itself depending on the outcomes of a 6-12 month MVP build and launch period.
REQUIREMENTS Minimum:- You must have at least 2 years of full-time work experience trying to found and grow a business as a solo founder or member of a founding team, owning at least 25% of the equity of the business you founded or cofounded
- You must have exceptional communication, management, leadership, marketing, and product management skills
- You must have an interest and passion for technology and the future of technology, especially in the fields of online education, higher education, developer training & testing
- 3+ years of full-time work experience as a founder or cofounder of a business, where you had at least 25% equity ownership, and the business either raised >£2mil in funding or reached >£250k/year of revenue
- 2+ years of product management experience, working to indirectly or directly manage developers and marketing staff to build scaled online tech products
- 2+ years of early stage fundraising experience, having raised at least £1mil in seed funding from angel investors, via crowdfunding, or from venture capital funds
- 1+ years of backend software development experience with a modern full stack MVC framework
- 1+ years full time work experience in machine learning/data science/artificial intelligence/applied statistics
- A undergraduate/masters degree in Computer Science/ Artificial Intelligence/Applied Statistics or a related field

As a senior leadership role within the company, you may be eligible for direct ownership in the business through our stock option scheme.
