We are seeking an exceptionally talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our rapidly growing consulting team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high profile projects at the cutting edge of the software industry. The position is a long term (6 months+) contracting position.
To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
- Proficiency at designing and developing software using many of the following: Python, Django, SQL (Postgres), AWS (S3, Fargate, OpenSearch, RDS, Cloudfront, etc.), JavaScript, Typescript
- Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code technologies
- Experience with Vue, Angular, or React
- Experience with migrating legacy application to modern technologies
- Experience building enterprise software with complex business rules and data models
- Experience designing and developing microservices or other distributed systems
- Experience with scaling to work with large data sets
Ideal candidates will also have:
- Experience architecting solutions on modern backend platforms
- Strong understanding of DevOps concepts and process and CI/CD tools
