About the role:

In this role you will report directly to the Senior Director of Global Revenue Enablement and you will engage across a wide variety of stakeholder teams at Kong, including sales, pre-sales, sales development, partner, marketing and more. The revenue enablement team is a VERY engaged and high energy team at Kong that is focused on innovating new, creative ways to impact all aspects of the Kong sale. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key sales stakeholders via a defined working cadence to understand and analyze training needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and deliver impactful sales enablement programs, learning paths and resources that enhance the capabilities of our sales team.
  • Manage and ensure timely updates to content in the Kong LMS and CMS platforms.
  • Support the workstreams and operational components of Kong’s seller onboarding process, including coordinating sessions and presenters, managing new-hire checklists, validating tools/platforms assignments and additional supporting activities as needed.
  • Support routine enablement sessions (Kongquests) as needed, including coordination, scheduling and planning full enablement sessions with subject matter experts.
  • Support existing enablement development activities using modern enablement tools such as Articulate Rise, Google Suite, and AI/GPT technologies.
  • Support the revenue enablement team’s participation with our partner team via internal Kong seller and external partner sales enablement activities and programs.
  • Help facilitate and deliver sales and partner enablement sessions as needed, ensuring content is relevant and tailored to the audience.
  • Assist with measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of enablement initiatives, continuously refining strategies to maximize impact.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation and support within the sales organization.

  • Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales ops, coaching, field sales or a related field.
  • Proven success in designing and delivering effective sales training programs.
  • Experience working with a wide variety of sales stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using modern enablement tools such as Articulate Rise, Google Suite, and AI/GPT technologies.
  • Experience managing modern sales LMS and CMS platforms.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to implementation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong coaching mentality.
  • Familiarity with GTM playbooks, deal stage best-practices, and ever-evolving sales cadences
  • Experience weaving sales methodologies like MEDDPICC into organizational objectives
  • Fast learner with a growth mindset who loves to continue to improve
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging sales and partner enablement sessions.
  • Aptitude to understand complex tech sales elements with the ability to translate into effective value-based field guidance.
  • Professional sales and experience in a technology sales environment utilizing customer-centric sales approach to align to customer business drivers and value
  • Additional Information

    Kong has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to specific candidate location, role, skill set and level of experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards including sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role. Benefits may vary depending on location. US based employees are typically offered access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short and long term disability benefits, basic life and AD&D insurance, among others. The typical base pay range for this role in the US is $145,000 - 165,000.
