At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.
Duties: The Senior Software Development Engineer for GoDaddy MSH Inc. in Tempe, Arizona will build highly scalable and distributed applications and tools that help in the website build automation process. Write unit tests and integration tests to help improve quality of code. Utilize JavaScript to perform development on front-end and back-end code. Utilize Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and React. Work with Git and GitHub, JIRA, Slack, and Confluence. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends and methodologies in architecture, including performance optimization and usability. Practice responsible web design and development. Utilize data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns. Act as team lead, monitoring and planning road maps throughout the year. Mentor fellow engineers in their day-to-day activities. Telecommuting is permissible.
Salary: GoDaddy's compensation may vary based on an individual's qualifications at the time of the offer. The annual base salary range is $122,866 - $210,000 per year.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 4 years of experience as a software engineer or related occupation. Experience must include at least 2 years of experience with each of the following: (1) building scalable and robust applications; (2) Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, and TypeScript; (3) standard web technologies, including Node.js and React; (4) data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns; and (5) AWS.
