Lead Full Stack Engineer

Position Overview:

As the Lead Full Stack Test-Driven Software Engineer at ShyftLabs, you will lead a team of talented engineers in designing, developing, and testing software solutions. You will be responsible for both back-endand front-enddevelopment.

ShyftLabs is a growing data product company that was founded in early 2020 and works primarily with Fortune 500 companies. We deliver digital solutions built to help accelerate the growth of businesses in various industries, by focusing on creating value through innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead a team of full-stack developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement features and solutions.

Champion and implement test-driven development (TDD) practices to ensure software quality.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's preferred).

A minimum of 6+years of professional software development experience.

Proficiency in backend technologies, including Python, Django, FastAPI.

Strong front-enddevelopment skills with ReactJSor React-Native.

Expertise in databases, including GraphQL , PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

Commitment to test-driven development (TDD) and writing clean, testable code.

Strong experience with AWS.

Proven leadership and team management skills.

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Enthusiasm for staying current with industry trends and technologies.

Preferred qualification:

Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWSor Azure, and proficiency in Docker or Kubernetesis an added advantage
