What we’re looking for

SurveyMonkey Enterprise is a powerful survey platform that enables teams and organizations to enhance their existing business ecosystem with People Powered Data. As a result they are able to make smarter, and more data-driven decisions.

The Multi-User Admin team develops the enterprise-grade administration used by the largest enterprise customers at SurveyMonkey. On this team, we develop advanced user and team management features such as asset library management, role based access control, survey branding, and user reporting.

We are looking for a talented QA Automation Engineer who has a real passion for solving challenging problems and testing product features. We work closely with our product owners, designers and our customers, iterating quickly to ensure we build the best solution for our users.

What you’ll be working on

  • Developing test plans for new features as they are planned and released
  • Writing new automation tests for our enterprise platform
  • Working through and executing manual and automated test runs according to the test plan prior to each release 
  • Facilitating test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members as needed 
  • Working with other engineers to investigate production issues, and performing root cause analysis
  • Documenting, investigating, and re-testing bugs and failures
  • Defining and implementing metrics to communicate the quality of the products you are responsible for
  • Supporting other types of quality targets, such as performance, load and stress testing
  • Fostering the spirit of continuous improvement and learning amongst fellow engineers

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 3+ years of professional software automation testing experience
  • 5+ years of experience in testing highly scalable web application and services
  • Experience with JavaScript based Web automation tool (we use WebdriverIO)
  • Understanding of Web, HTTP and API design, and have solid experience testing web applications
  • Experience with Git or another VCS
  • Solid understanding of how to apply QA methodologies and processes
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both co-located and remote engineers and cross-functional partners
