About the Job

We are looking for an analytical Search Engine Marketing Specialist to join our Growth Marketing team. They should be accustomed to: analyzing and implementing large-scale Google, Bing, and other campaigns, implementing keyword and ad copy experiments, leveraging data-driven insights to design rigorous campaign and feed experiments, and using automation in campaign management, bidding and targeting to drive paid investment efficiencies.

We are seeking a talented individual to run our Paid Search channel across our North American market. The SEM Specialist will develop the overarching strategy, direction of the search program, and work cross functionally with our product, business intelligence, data science and business operations team. Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, the SEM Specialist will play a critical role in growing and scaling Taskrabbit's client base by focusing on driving profitable growth through new client acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background with a desire to innovate.

What You'll Work On:
  • Build campaigns from the ground up, including keyword research, competitive analysis, audience definition, geographic targeting, and ad copy generation and experimentation
  • Daily campaign and budget management: Bid setting, audience optimization (within platforms and using third party DMPs).
  • Monitor campaign performance and pacing to goals, perform recurrent and ad hoc analysis, and flag opportunities to grow or optimize performance 
  • Analyze, experiment, and iterate to improve performance and uncover new opportunities, including running structured A/B and channel lift testing to determine the incrementality of strategies on key business outputs.
  • Develop insights and share these insights with key stakeholders
  • Improve account management processes such as ad creation, keyword generation, landing page selection and ad copy testing and work toward toward automation of repetitive daily/weekly/monthly tasks
  • Manage data collection processes and ensure quality tracking across all channels.
  • Develop and maintain analysis and models that enable the company to market or operate more efficiently
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to automate data collection and improve attribution analysis.
  • Accountable for SEM thought leadership activity, putting forward new topics of interest and championing creative strategic thinking.
  • Partner with the SEO team to improve overall brand visibility and drive maximum efficiency
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working on SEM marketing with a focus on user acquisition.
  • Proven track record of managing and executing Google Ads accounts at scale (big plus if Google Ads Certified)
  • Experience with Search Automation tools (Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ads 360, Google Ads API).
  • Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mix Panel, Looker, Optimizely)
  • Strong analytical skills - able to measure and analyze data, report on KPIs.
  • Experience running experiments (A/B creative tests, conversion lift tests, etc.) and analyzing data.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing channels and experience optimizing campaigns by relevant KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, etc.
  • Analytical mindset and creative thinker to strategize and execute on tests within campaigns.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering and Agencies.
  • Great communication skills -  capable of translating your data-driven insights into actionable recommendations.
Compensation & Benefits:

At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent and equitable.  total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.

The base pay range for this position is $76,000 - $105,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
