Commercial Sector Proposal Managerwho is familiar with the Shipley Process to develop and execute winning proposals that help our clients achieve their goals.

Working with our Sales Team, TTEC Digital

Proposal Managers lead the development of sales proposals, RFI responses, and other collateral elements used in pursuit of new business. Responsibilities include analyzing requests for proposals (RFxs); contributing to bid strategy and win themes; collaborating with technology partners on strategy and content creation; developing the proposal plan and outline; and conducting proposal reviews for bid strategy, responsiveness to RFx, thoroughness, accuracy, quality, and effective design and layout.

Proposal Manager will leverage pre-existing materials and develop content that shows we understand client/prospect challenges and goals, that our solution is aligned with the objectives, that our differentiators are made clear, and we are persuasive in explaining why the client should select us as their solution provider.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Responds to RFx requirements to submit high-quality pursuit documents by the deadline.
  • Contributes to proactive pursuit development and responses as needed.
  • Leads a virtual pursuit team, to complete the response on time and according to the identified win themes and bid strategy.
  • Partners across the organization to continually develop new content that reflects the TTEC Digital products and services suite.
  • Creates new RFx response materials that are persuasively written and of high quality.
  • Maintains communication with technology partners to successfully complete proposals.
  • Evaluates all responses received from internal SMEs and Partners to ensure they are aligned to the solution and win themes, are written compellingly, and, where necessary, identify and take corrective action to realize desired outcomes.
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the work of an integrated pursuit team to meet all schedules and deadlines.
  • Assess the solicitation, resource requirements, and other proposal elements to determine proposal resource needs and schedules for the specific assigned opportunity.
  • Maintain close working relationships with Sales Executives, Solution Engineers, SMEs, and other stakeholders to generate proposals and presentations, including document preparation, team coordination, writing, editing, proofreading, compliance, overall quality control, and deadline adherence.
  • Help define win strategies, themes, discriminators, key messages, and other pertinent proposal content.
  • Manage and communicate the proposal development and production schedules, keeping the team and management informed of changes as they occur.
  • Lead all aspects of proposal phases which include, but are not limited to, Kickoff meetings, internal proposal team meetings, and reviews.
  • Develop and follow procedures to ensure proposals conform to client requirements and TTEC’s style guide in concert with the corporate marketing team.
  • If required, prepare physical presentation materials and arrange shipping of deliverables to clients (i.e. USB flash drive, hard copies, etc.).
  • What You Will Bring:

  • Experience with the Shipley Process or a similar methodology
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial sector marketing and sales or proposal development with 3-5 years of experience leading the proposal response process.
  • Experience using Responsive (formerly RFPIO) RFx Solutions platform or other related cloud-based RFP Platforms is desired.
  • Experience working on and leading remote teams.
  • Strong writing, editing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Professional Services, Technology Companies, or System Integrators preferred.
  • Enterprise Solutions Sales Experience highly preferred.
  • APMP membership and APMP Foundation certification are a plus.
