The base salary range for this role is $70,000 per year - $95,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join our team focused on the Fanatics App. As a Data Analyst at Fanatics Betting and Gaming, you will be responsible for leveraging business intelligence and analytics expertise to drive insights and decisions in a product or app capacity in-house.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize BI analytics skills to analyze and interpret full suite of app data including engagement, retention, conversion, sales revenue, and free-to-play (F2P) statistics within our Fanatics App + Betting and Gaming products and apps.
  • Serve as the first hire in leading analytics for the new Fanatics App, taking ownership of all metrics and reporting, and driving insights and strategies to enhance user experiences and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics, KPIs, and data sources for tracking and measuring product performance.
  • Present key analytics and insights to leadership on a regular basis, thinking strategically to deduce insights and actions from the data.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and data sources using SQL, Tableau, Excel, Snowflake and Amplitude to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Design and implement new dashboards and data visualization techniques to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Generate weekly and quarterly business reports for leadership, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics and apply them to enhance our analytical capabilities.
  • Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in a data analyst role, preferably for a consumer technology company or similar product-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
  • Experience with Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Amplitude is a plus.
  • Proven track record of leading analytics initiatives and driving business impact through data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Must be okay with occasional travel.
