Summary

A Dispatcher at Lessen acts as a liaison between our clients and our network of vendors by managing all our clients’ repair and maintenance needs within our technology platform, One by Lessen. A dispatcher is responsible to review and qualify submitted work orders and determine appropriate affiliates based on work order scope, priority, and business rules. A Dispatcher II handles more complex work orders/tasks and communicates on the phone and electronically with clients and vendors to ensure all maintenance services are completed in an effective and efficient manner.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain positive client and vendor relations
  • Call local vendors outside of the Lessen system
  • Onboard vendors and create profiles
  • Respond to call and email requests for services from vendors and customers
  • Qualify and ensure work orders are created correctly and then determine appropriate affiliate based on the scope of work order
  • Call vendors as needed to get work orders accepted based on scope, SLAs, and client requirements
  • Follow dispatch policies and procedures
  • Manage real-time inquires while keeping track of and responding to commitments
  • Escalate all disputes, client/vendor concerns in a timely manner
  • Enter information into our database and ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Demonstrate professionalism and effectiveness when communicating with internal and external customers
  • Shift flexibility may be required
  • Foster a positive team environment
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of internal and external data
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned
  • What You'll Need

  • Computer Skills: proficiencies in: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook essential
  • Ability to type 35 wpm at minimum required
  • Proficiency in current role and manager recommendation is required
  • Undergraduate degree / internship preferred
  • Intellectual agility and adaptability
