Veda is seeking a motivated Director, Partnerships to join our Growth team. Reporting to the VP, Account Management & Partnerships, this role will be responsible for launching Veda’s strategic partnership framework by identifying key technology influencers, and industry alliances that can drive value and revenue by engaging Veda’s product portfolio.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Understand Veda’s target partner’s business needs, leverage consultative skills to develop customized proposals, engage Veda’s suite of products and identify potential growth areas
  • Build and manage pipeline by qualifying leads, prospecting, and identifying partnership opportunities
  • Apply a consultative approach to understanding of our partner’s strategy, technical roadmap, business priorities, and operational needs; Identify opportunities to bring insights & education to customers
  • Collaborate with Growth leadership team to manage executive-level contacts with key partners, including executive relationship mapping, QBRs, and key stakeholder management
  • Utilize your experience, relationships, market credibility, and track record of commercial success to execute and close complex partnership deals
  • Educate the Growth, Customer and Product teams within the organization on the value that these partners can deliver
  • Collaborate graciously and mentor our growing team to support the company’s commitment to coaching and collaboration
  • About You:

  • You have significant experience in B2B Healthcare sales with at least 5 years dedicated to Healthcare Payers and Insurance providers networks
  • You have a commitment to excellence in everything you do and know that teamwork can be a great component to achieving that level of success
  • You are a talented storyteller and an even better listener; often praised for your ability to uncover and communicate meaningful value drivers
  • You are not intimidated by the demands of a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • You are skilled at leading complex, senior level negotiations; with significant experience communicating with and presenting to C-level leadership
  • You have enough technical aptitude to read and interpret product development documents and contracts
  • You have mature project management skills and the ability to stay organized
  • You have a clear perspective and can formulate and defend opinions regarding market and competitive direction
  • Requirements:

  • 10+ years in B2B sales, prospecting, or business development with 5+ years developing strategic transactions, channel partnerships, and complex contract negotiations with large technology companies
  • Thorough understanding of the overall healthcare industry with specific expertise in provider data
  • Ability to think critically and apply data-driven influence to decision making
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles that represent a multi-year engagement
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills
  • Proven ability to present with a high degree of comfort and credibility
  • Bachelor's Degree to equivalent experience is preferred
