We are looking for a Staff Field Product Manager to join our team and have a direct impact on sales and product roadmap for the Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) portfolio, an industry leader in the Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) space. In this role, you will become the ‘go to’ person for sales engineers and account reps for topics surrounding ZDX. You will also gather requirements from customers and directly work with other product managers to influence the product roadmap. You will help us meet the requirements of our rapidly growing customer base and be game changers in the digital experience monitoring space. You must possess a blend of business and technical skills, have a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality, with attention to detail.

Location: Remote within the U.S. CST and MST preferred.

Responsibilities

  • You are the “go to” local expert for customers and sales on the topic of (ZDX)
  • Drive sales initiatives by bringing creativity, innovative ideas and passion
  • Present to customers as our expert in ZDX strategy, vision, architecture and deployment at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from helpdesk practitioner to CIO
  • Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape that every customer needs to be aware of and planning to deal with in regards to workload communications.
  • Discuss, with credibility, competitive offers in the marketplace and position ours as the best alternative
  • Lead and support customer Proof-of-Value (with our SE’s) that showcase our unique value
  • Maintain bi-directional trusted advisor relationship with Product Management, R&D to drive client-based insights/feedback and future solution direction
  • Participate and provide feedback on beta testing of new functions and features
  • Provide product update and enhancement training to technical sales and architects in the region
  • Support relationship expansion with top existing partners for workload communication

 

Must Have Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree;  Computer Science, Engineering or other technical fields an advantage
  • 5-7 years of experience: Product Management (inbound/outbound), Technical Business Development, Technical Sales
  • Technical expertise with large scale deployments of DEM (Digital Experience Monitoring) or Network and endpoint Monitoring products is mandatory
  • Deep understanding of Internet and Network protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, SSL etc. is mandatory

Nice to Have Qualifications/Skills: 

  • Deep understanding of Proxies, Firewall, VPN based security stack is highly desirable
  • Understanding of identity systems and protocols (ex. ADFS, SAML, SCIM etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Must have working knowledge and hands-on experience in security, networking, and applications across AWS, Azure, and GCP. 
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) – must be able to communicate at a business and technical level with internal teams, customers, partners and executives.
  • Leadership, drive, passion and charisma – ability to persuade, sell ideas and lead without authority
  • Ability to travel (30%-40%) within the US

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$165,750

$185,000 USD
