We are seeking a Healthcare Data Scientist to play a pivotal role in enhancing our AI-driven platform with deep insights from healthcare data. In this role, you will build and apply ML and AI models to health care data. Requirements

  • Educational Background: Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a closely related field that emphasizes analytical skills, scientific thinking, and rigor. Exceptional candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline and significant relevant experience in healthcare data analysis may also be considered. A strong educational foundation ensures a deep understanding of statistical methods, data analysis techniques, and their application in healthcare.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in healthcare data analysis, with a demonstrated ability to extract meaningful insights from complex medical datasets. Hands-on experience in working with healthcare data is essential for success in this role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical programming languages and tools such as Python and R.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record Data and Systems: Familiarity with the structure and peculiarities of healthcare data, particularly CCDA and FHIR, and related systems.
  • Machine Learning Expertise: Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their application in predictive modeling and analysis of healthcare data. Understanding how to leverage machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns, make predictions, and support data-driven decision-making in healthcare is a key requirement.
  • Data Privacy and Security: Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations relevant to healthcare data, such as HIPAA. Experience in working with sensitive patient data while ensuring compliance and data security is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and accessible manner to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise. The ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences is crucial for effective collaboration and impact.
  • Agile Development Experience: Experience in an agile development environment is preferred, with a proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion. Familiarity with agile methodologies ensures the ability to adapt to changing requirements and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A collaborative problem solver, adept at working across teams to integrate data-driven insights into practical applications.
