We are seeking an experienced Moderation AI Developer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in enhancing our platform's safety and user experience. As a Moderation AI Developer, you will be responsible for developing and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models to ensure proactive moderation during the content creation flow and detect spam via direct message effectively. Your expertise in ML, Python, and AWS SageMaker will be crucial in creating robust and scalable moderation solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in AI development and moderation technologies. Contract Duration is 4 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
Your Responsibilities

Design and develop advanced machine learning models for proactive content moderation during the content creation flow, ensuring adherence to community guidelines and policies.

Implement state-of-the-art techniques to detect and filter direct message spam, minimizing user exposure to unsolicited or harmful content.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers and engineers, to integrate the moderation AI solutions seamlessly into our platform.

Incorporate and optimize model deployment on AWS SageMaker, taking into account scalability, cost-effectiveness, and performance considerations.

Continuously monitor the performance of deployed moderation models and iterate on improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Write clear and concise technical documentation for the developed models and ensure knowledge sharing across the team

Investigate and address emerging moderation challenges and develop proactive measures to handle potential risks effectively.

Provide support and collaborate closely with fellow members of the AI development team, offering guidance and promoting knowledge sharing.
Our Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of work experience in developing AI and machine learning solutions, with a focus on moderation and content filtering.

Capability to work autonomously and effectively in an asynchronous work environment.

Proficiency in programming languages like Python and familiarity with popular ML/AI libraries.

Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and their application to text classification and sentiment analysis.

Demonstrated experience in deploying AI models on AWS SageMaker.

Ability to identify potential ethical considerations in moderation AI and implement measures to mitigate bias and ensure fairness.

Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning methods, deep learning architectures, and model evaluation metrics.

Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with large-scale datasets.

Proficient in identifying and resolving data anomalies and offering valuable suggestions for product enhancements.
