The Mission

We're seeking a talented Principal Consultant for our growing Professional Services team. The ideal candidate has substantial experience in leading large-scale technology transformations or acting as a trusted advisor to strategic customers in a consulting capacity. Your mission is to drive customer program success by defining and measuring business value, building and maintaining customer roadmaps, and guiding customers in enhancing their maturity for long-term AWS value delivery. Collaborating closely with our strategic customers, you'll ensure they meet their goals, bridging the gap between business and technology to foster sustainable growth.

 

Your Assignment

 

Ensuring Program Success

As a leader in our Strategic Accounts, your role involves steering customers and the Caylent team towards the client’s vision. This includes leading Executive Steering Committees and managing Account level Risks and Decisions to facilitate delivery team progress. 

Drive the Creation of Customer Roadmaps

You will align Caylent and the customer on business value realization expectations from both ongoing and future projects. This involves setting program objectives and metrics that match the customer’s business goals and maintaining a value-aligned roadmap of future work.

Drive Growth of Strategic Accounts

Through the above activities, you are expected to uncover new opportunities within customers, driving the growth of our Strategic Accounts. Collaborate with Account Executives and Customer Solutions Architects to develop these opportunities.

 

KPIs:

  • Utilization (50% target)
  • Influenced Pipeline and growth of Strategic Accounts
  • CSAT scores within Strategic Accounts

 

Your Qualifications
  • 7+ years of consulting experience in cloud and digital transformation or leadership experience in technology transformation
  • Proven ability to build key client relationships and secure repeat business
  • Experience delivering large, complex projects for enterprise clients
  • Expertise in public cloud infrastructure and services, preferably AWS
  • Strong understanding of Agile project delivery
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with executive audiences
  • Startup environment adaptability and cross-functional teamwork
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Willingness to travel for project kick offs and key client milestones

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, Agile, or HashiCorp
  • Knowledge of Security Best Practices, Cloud Economics, Serverless technologies, container-based architecture, Software development frameworks, and cloud cost optimization
  • Experience in AWS consulting with Fortune 2000 clients

Base Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this position is $201.000 - $225.000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.Additional Compensation Components: In addition to the base salary, the compensation package may include bonuses, commissions, equity, and other incentives. The specific components will vary depending on the role and individual and/or company performance.
