What will you be doing?

We are seeking a seasoned and innovative Technical Content Developer to join our User and Content Experience team. You will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our content strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, and delivering high-impact learning experiences. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in content design and development, enterprise software learning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy and Planning:
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive learning content strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product direction and translate them into actionable content plans.
  • Lead the learning design effort for one solutions area, across products.
  • Prepare realistic plans collaboratively with other content creators, track activities against the project schedule, and suggest viable options when demand exceeds capacity.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Monitor timelines, and effort;; take action where these deviate from the plan.
  • Design and Develop:
  • Design and implement a scalable and flexible content that can be reused.
  • Determine the "right content to build" including effort, based on competency requirements in alignment with stakeholder guidance.
  • Develop curriculum for learning experiences for at least one solution area.
  • Apply instructional design best practices to course development and follow department standards.
  • Identify areas for methodology improvements.
  • Design engaging content experiences using mixed learning media.
  • Content Lifecycle Management:
  • Oversee the entire content lifecycle, from creation and curation to distribution and archival.
  • Implement best practices for versioning, content reuse, and content retirement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with brand standards and visual experience goals.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and address content gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Seek and incorporate input from Subject Matter Experts, Product Managers, and Learners.
  • Training and Mentorship:
  • Provide support for newer developers by imparting information about team best practices, basic instructional design principles, and the answers to common technical questions.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, technical writing, or a related field and 5- 8 years related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles.
  • Knowledge of web applications and cloud platforms.
  • Experience creating and using dashboards to represent analytical data.
  • Ability to gather information from subject matter experts and learn by experimenting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across diverse teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative and innovative approach to content development.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Word), Google (Mail, Calendar, Drive), and Sharepoint.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with XML, ETL, and one or more report writing tools (i.e., Cognos, Thoughtspot, etc.).
  • Technical aptitude required to understand and document complex and distributed Data and Analytics solutions.
  • Ability to understand and create basic SQL queries and code samples.
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
