We’re seeking a Technical Recruiter who’s passionate about discovering top talent, driving company growth, and helping people develop successful Design careers. In this position, you'll be a strong collaborative partner to our Product Design hiring stakeholders, consulting with them around talent acquisition strategies & hiring processes, and executing against the team’s hiring goals. Additionally, we are looking for a recruiter who has experience in scaling technology companies and eager to take on their next challenge building the next phase of Gusto’s (EPDD) Engineering, Product, Data and Design organization. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who will take ownership of

 building a strong candidate pipeline and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process at Gusto. Learn more about Design at Gusto here.

 

This will be a hybrid role with the expectation that you will work out of our San Francisco, Denver, or New York offices approximately 2 days per week.

 

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment process for senior level and above Product Design roles at Gusto
  • Partner with hiring teams to understand their organizational objectives and drive a customized hiring plan to achieve those goals
  • Create unique strategies to identify, attract, engage and close the best talent from branding and events to sourcing and referrals
  • Manage candidates in process to provide them with the most delightful candidate experience
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Compensation, HR Business Partners, and Executive Operations
  • Build processes that will help the recruitment team scale its efforts for years to come
  • Proactively contribute to improving Recruiting at Gusto by challenging the status quo and providing useful suggestions for improvement

 

Here’s what we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience ideally within a high-growth tech environment
  • Experience partnering with and coaching hiring managers, guiding them through the whole recruiting process
  • Proven experience sourcing and closing profiles ranging from mid to senior Leadership positions for generalist and niche Product Design teams
  • Experience working with Greenhouse, Gem, Slack, LinkedIn Recruiter and G-Suite
  • Experience building representative candidate pipelines and helping hiring managers create inclusive teams
  • Familiarity with funnel metrics - you can use your data to understand and predict candidates needed to achieve hiring targets
  • At your best in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, working collaboratively with others 
  • Passion for Gusto’s mission and the impact we can have on the world

Our cash compensation range for this role is $88,000 to $108,000 in Denver & most remote locations, and $105,000 to $131,000 in San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

 


Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.

Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas. 

When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
