Lirio is a technology/software company that provides expertise in a variety of behavioral science domains (e.g., behavioral economics, social psychology, public health), data science, and machine learning to drive consumer engagement, close gaps in preventive and chronic care, and promote health and well-being across an individual’s lifespan. Lirio’s behavior change AI platform unites behavioral science with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to deliver Precision Nudging health interventions. Precision Nudging is the application of behavioral science to health interventions personalized by AI to each individual that overcome barriers to action at the right time and place for scalable, behavior change. 

 

This is a remote role, or can be hybrid if you are based in TN.

Position Summary:

The

Senior Product Manager drives the development, market launch, and improvement of Lirio’s product portfolio. They serve as Lirio’s market-facing product evangelist and subject matter expert. They lead efforts around product/market fit for solutions in Lirio’s vertical channelsincluding providers, payers, and self-insured employers. They discover and translate market trends and needs into business requirements, functional use cases, and market-facing artifacts. They shape and tell the Lirio product story at conferences and in sales, partner, and investor presentations. They collaborate with cross-functional teams and other Product Managers to enable client partnerships, manage the product roadmap, orchestrate the product life cycle, and ensure product quality and delivery within tight deadlines. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Product Strategy

 
  • Envisions and delivers market-focused product strategies. 
  • Acts as market-facing product leader and leverages subject matter experts to guide product strategy, delivery, and decision-making processes. 
  • Leads and executes ongoing business analysis, competitive analysis, and market/industry research. 
  • Determines market needs and desires by conducting interviews with new and existing customers. 
  • Understands business problems, trends, and product impact/opportunity in target markets by: interacting with customers and key stakeholders, monitoring regulatory and policy changes, attending conferences, and synthesizing analyst reports/calls. 
  • Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources and deconstructs high-level information into details used for product artifacts like strategy, application, and operational requirements. 
  • Triage product ideas and requests to determine if a new product feature is needed or if a feature should be changed. 
  • Plans, tracks, and communicates product changes to internal and external audiences and stakeholders. 

Product Management

 
  • Collaborates with executives, squad leaders, and members of the Lirio Factory to determine technical design, align resources, prioritize product roadmap, and deliver product features. 
  • Supports business development, client success, and strategic partnerships by helping to identify customer problems and solutioning how Lirio’s product can address their needs. 
  • Coordinates and collaborates across the Lirio Factory to drive holistic solutions, including services and support, with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. 
  • Shares and incorporates feedback on functional specifications from all stakeholders. 
  • Creates and maintains requirements documentation, including but not limited to, functional requirements, business requirements, and use cases. 
  • Continuously reviews business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks. 
  • Scopes projects/initiatives and works across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery and raises any potential delays to leadership. 

Product Implementation

 
  • Serves as lead product manager for key initiatives across multiple squads. 
  • Collaborates with Lirio Factory leaders to ensure product delivery is timely, meets quality expectations, and provides value to our customers. 
  • Works with internal and external development partners to create and maintain product functionality. 
  • Facilitates and participates in technical squad requirements gathering and refinement sessions. 
  • Advocates for and ensures technical squads understand customer pain points and needs. 
  • Ensures proposed product solutions are applicable to a broad audience to expand usage and provide new revenue opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years experience working in a product management role for a SaaS company. 
  • Track record of commercially successful product launches, preferably in an enterprise software product management role. 
  • Experience with Healthcare industry stakeholders – payers, providers, marketing, information technology. 
  • Experience with product market analysis.  
  • Demonstratable commercial acumen and ability to manage customer expectations. 
  • Technology curious and can keep up in reasonably technical conversations. 
  • Experience translating customer needs into product features, user interface designs, and pricing models. 
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to take complex ideas and communicate them effectively internally and externally, and experience with presenting to large audiences (20 or more individuals to include customers and senior level executives). 
  • Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value. 
  • Ability to drive products success through strong collaboration and to influence others across the organization.  
  • Experience as a product manager, coordinating development efforts within a product life cycle and integrated with an agile development process.
  • Previous startup experience, preferably in a rapid, high growth environment
