Mactores is looking for a professional .NET developer who has worked on ASP.Net, MVC, and WebAPI. The candidate will help migrate the customer’s application code to support “MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL” migration.

What you will do?

  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to understand existing application architecture and database schemas.
  • Develop, modify, and debug applications using ASP.Net, MVC, and WebAPI frameworks to ensure compatibility post-migration.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure data integrity during and after the migration process.
  • Work with database developers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition without compromising data security and accessibility.
  • Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve any issues arising from the migration process.
  • Provide post-migration support to address any issues or concerns end-users or stakeholders raise.
  • What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of experience as a .NET Developer with a strong understanding of ASP.Net, MVC, and WebAPI frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in migrating databases from MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL.
  • Solid understanding of database management systems, SQL, and data modeling concepts.
  • Familiarity with data migration tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Relevant certifications in .NET development and database management will be considered a plus.

    The Path to Joining the Mactores Team

    Pre-Employment Assessment:

    You will be invited to participate in a series of pre-employment evaluations to assess your technical proficiency and suitability for the role.

    Managerial Interview: The hiring manager will engage with you in multiple discussions, lasting anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, to assess your technical skills, hands-on experience, leadership potential, and communication abilities.
