Pre-Sales Business Analytics Intern
The Pre-Sales Business Analytics summer internship program is designed to introduce interns to the role of technical pre-sales through exposure to pre-sales day-to-day work, and through the design, execution and summary of unique analytical and win/loss projects that support Minitab
.Responsibilities
:Assist Opportunity Management:
- Shadow and assist Solution Engineers as they provide sales support to the sales teams through the delivery of in-depth discovery sessions, customer presentations & demonstrations.
- Gather knowledge of the Minitab ecosystem and the unique value propositions for solutions and how to effectively position them.
Project Execution: Win/Loss Analyses
- Determine appropriate data for a win/loss analysis for select product categories
- Work across Minitab teams to collect relevant information, analyze data, interpret, and present results to management.
- Demonstrate the use of statistical methods, predictive models to effectively solve problems
Project Execution: Minitab Statistical Software Product Analysis
- Define success metrics, methodology, sample size requirements and analysis to address a known problem.
- Work across Minitab teams to create buy-in, to ensure it meets the needs of all relevant departments.
- Leverage Design of Experiments to create and execute the experiment, including the coordination of planning and departmental approvals.
- Analyze, interpret, and present the results to management.

Experience: Priority given to Juniors and Seniors currently enrolled in statistics, mathematics, economics, or related technical course of study.
Minitab
