Project Manager

Biofourmis’ Digital Health solutions are deployed in partnership with the world’s leading biotech, pharma and health systems that are pushing the innovation boundaries to improve outcomes.

With our rapidly growing customer base and project portfolio, we are building a group of implementation experts to lead the delivery of projects for our customers. This group will work closely with our customers’ teams for deploying Biofourmis solutions and maximize the value derived by our customers. The implementation team will also work in close collaboration with the internal cross-functional team.

We are seeking a Project Manager – Digital Health Life Science with solid experience in client-focused solutions and project management to be a part of the team. The individual will be responsible for facilitating the implementation of key internal and external clinical studies and commercial projects for our pharmaceuticals/life sciences customers while carefully managing quality, timeline, and cost. This role is also required to function as a business analyst to help understand client needs, capture requirements, and further collaborate with the internal development team to implement them. This is a key role that will have a direct impact on the company’s relationship with external customers and business partners. 

Responsibilities

  • Review and achieve alignment on the scope of work and create a comprehensive project plan. Identify project dependencies and risks and facilitate mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate the requirement and analysis phase of engagement to capture customer needs and develop the project scope.
  • Manage programs including Digital Health technologies such as wearable devices, smart device-based app interfaces, and web portals.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams of experts including Product, Engineering, Regulatory, Quality, Security, Compliance, and Customer Service
  • Manage project tasks to ensure deliverables are of the highest quality, timelines are met, and within budget while delighting our customers.
  • Report project status to internal stakeholders, management, and external customers as needed.
  • Schedule and lead meetings with customers throughout the implementation engagement.
  • Manage vendor and business partner relationships where appropriate for the delivery of customer engagement.
  • Support Project and Product Management process improvement initiatives
  • In addition, ability to analyze and translate business requirements to meet specific project/process needs.
  • Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and embrace a culture of customer success and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, information technology, or related industry
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working within customer/client-facing teams for project delivery
  • Good understanding of clinical study processes e.g., IRB/Ethics Committee requirements, Site Initiations, Site Training, etc.
  • Experience project managing programs including Digital Health Technologies such as wearable devices (non-invasive), patient interface (apps on phones, tablets) and web-based clinician-facing interface is a huge plus
  • As a program analyst, ability to lead requirements gathering, analysis, documentation and reporting
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Strong understanding of Scrum Methodology and experience working in Scrum/agile environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

  • 2-3 years of experience in Pharma, healthcare systems, hospitals, medical devices or life sciences industry, with a general understanding of regulatory requirements for the industry (e.g. GxP, Software as Medical devices, Combo therapies, HIPAA, GDPR etc.)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced rapidly growing startup
  • Experience working with cross-functional global teams spread across time zones
  • Experience with implementing SaaS/cloud-based solutions

Base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 depending upon experience level.
