THE ROLE

You will contribute to the development of the Farfetch Android app, driving our long-term mobile strategy. You'll write top-notch Kotlin code and apply effective design patterns. Your responsibilities will include implementing new features, boosting performance, and building user interfaces that are elegant and user-friendly.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Guide feature development and help improve end-to-end product quality.

Contribute to the cross-team development of common libraries.

Help establish best practices in Android development and contribute to a learning environment.

Be committed to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

Work with other Product Development teams to improve the consistency and timing of releases.

Contribute to architectural solutions at the forefront of mobiletechnology to deal with complex apps effectively.

WHO YOU ARE

5+ years of experience in Android development

Proficient in Kotlin; Java is considered a plus.

Knowledgeable about REST API architecture.

Understanding of client-side development and the API backend stack.

Eager to delve into details about memory management, UI layout/rendering, and UI/network performance.

Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
