⭐️ Role Overview

At Lodgify, we are looking for a talentedManual QA Engineerto join our growing team. We are constantly working to improve our software and its features. A skilled QA Engineer will be not only a great contribution to that but also a key player for the QA team. You will apply your skills across the software development lifecycle to contribute to the ongoing success of the project.

⭐ How will you make an impact?

Develop, review and contribute to test plans, test scenarios and test cases

Perform effective manual testing to ensure the product’s stability and performance

Designing automatable test cases and act as a bridge between Automation squad by ensuring testability and automatability

Build a deep understanding of the Lodgify application, as well as a strong intuition around our architecture and codebase to guide your sense for common issues that may arise

Ensure the software meets all requirements of quality including reliability, usability, and performance

Collaborate and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Own communication throughout the sprint/release cycle, quality and delivery of the entire feature

Document, report and track all identified bugs, inconsistencies and issues

Evaluate the efficiency of existing QA processes and recommend improvements

Analyze, review and assess requirements and design specifications

Work closely with the Product Manager.

⭐ What makes you a great fit?

2-3 year experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Ability to speak, write and read technical documentation in English

A clear understanding of the testing methodology and STLC lifecycle

Good knowledge of API testing (Postman), Client-Server architecture, debugging, capturing and diagnosing server logs

Demonstrate a strong sense of attention to detail in test execution and defect reporting

Ability to report defects and document clearly

Problem-solving and result-driven

End-user empathy and understanding of the business strategy

You’ve got extra points if

ISTQB certification

Good understanding of Internet concepts (HTTP Requests and Responses, Cookies, Local Storage, General understanding of HTML and CSS)

Experience with Jira and Test Management Tools (eg: Xray, Testrail etc)
