We’re looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
About the role:
As a DevSecOps Engineer, you are responsible for actively developing and implementing end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring processes are both secure and efficient. Collaborate with clients, designing and implementing Kubernetes or Docker solutions. Take part in building CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a smooth software update process. Furthermore, actively participate in the application of GitOps principles for software delivery.
What we are looking for:
- 1-3 years of relevant hands-on experience implementing DevSecOps pipelines
- Relevant container hardening experience
- Hands-on work experience with Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of source version control and build/release tools
- Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Packer, Ansible, etc.) and Configuration as Code
- Ability to generate OCI compliant hardened containers for other commercial and open-source tools
- Experience planning and managing Agile software development processes
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems
- Advanced experience in DevSecOps implementation (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, etc.)
- Obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft
Highly preferred:
- Solid understanding of GitOps development
- Experience with service/network meshes (e.g., Istio)
- Experience with cloud systems and architectures (AWS, Azure) - configuration of EC2 instances and Lambda functions are a plus
- Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps methodologies and can work closely with DevSecOps teams to support containerizing platform services
- Experience developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications
- Development experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
- Experience with cloud deployment
Clearance Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Salary Range:
- $90,000 - $170,000
- The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
