We’re looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.

About the role:

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you are responsible for actively developing and implementing end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring processes are both secure and efficient. Collaborate with clients, designing and implementing Kubernetes or Docker solutions. Take part in building CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a smooth software update process. Furthermore, actively participate in the application of GitOps principles for software delivery.

What we are looking for:

  • 1-3 years of relevant hands-on experience implementing DevSecOps pipelines
  • Relevant container hardening experience
  • Hands-on work experience with Kubernetes
  • Working knowledge of source version control and build/release tools
  • Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Packer, Ansible, etc.) and Configuration as Code
  • Ability to generate OCI compliant hardened containers for other commercial and open-source tools
  • Experience planning and managing Agile software development processes
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems
  • Advanced experience in DevSecOps implementation (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, etc.)
  • Obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft

Highly preferred: 

  • Solid understanding of GitOps development
  • Experience with service/network meshes (e.g., Istio)
  • Experience with cloud systems and architectures (AWS, Azure) - configuration of EC2 instances and Lambda functions are a plus
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps methodologies and can work closely with DevSecOps teams to support containerizing platform services
  • Experience developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications
  • Development experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
  • Experience with cloud deployment

Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Work Type: 

  • Remote
  • May require up to 10% travel

Salary Range:

  • $90,000 - $170,000
  • The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
