We’re looking for an experienced Principal DevSecOps Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
About the role:
As a Principal DevSecOps Engineer and Technical Lead, your role will involve leading the development and implementation of end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring top-notch security and efficiency in processes. We are looking for a candidate with prior experience in deploying Kubernetes in multiple ways and supporting automation of platform management at an enterprise scale. The successful engineer will be at least a mid to senior-level professional capable of mentoring junior developers and engineers. Additionally, possessing effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization, is critical.
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years' of hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Docker, provisioning production clusters and maintaining their compliance
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes on RKE or RKE2
- Lead in developing and implementing end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
- Strong experience with AWS and cloud technologies
- Deep understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
- Advanced networking experience
- Experience with managing Service-Mesh, like Istio
- In-depth knowledge of version control systems like GitLab
- Extensive experience in software systems development through CI/CD pipelines
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities
- Dedicated to automation, system efficiency, and security
- Experience in setting up and integrating enterprise-grade cloud-based services
- Proficiency with Log Management and Analytics tools
- Ability to oversee CI/CD pipelines using cloud services and automation tools
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using TerraForm or Terragrunt
- Obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft
Highly preferred:
- Solid understanding of writing custom Helm Charts
- Experience with Big Data such as Kafka, Hadoop, and Cassandra
- Polyglot experience using a variety of programming languages and their package managers/dependency managers such as Maven, Gradle, NPM, and Yarn
- Experience working with CloudOne
- Experience with supporting enterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure
- Familiarity with RMF, ATO Processes, and Security Controls
- Certifications such as CKA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
Clearance Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance

Salary Range:
- $140,000 - $225,000
- The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
