Shift4 is expanding globally and seeking a key Oracle Fusion Developer/Software Engineer. This individual will hold a pivotal role in designing and developing Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions, specializing in Finance and Service Modules.This position may be remote based in the U.S. or may also be based at the following Shift4 locations: Center Valley, PA / Tampa, FL / Las Vegas, NV / Morrisville, NC Relocation assistance may be provided.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities span analyzing business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and creating extensions, integrations, and reports. The role encompasses developing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality/security, participating in the SDLC, and optimizing processes for performance. This role will provide production support, troubleshoot data issues, and collaborate with software engineers for integration. With expertise in Fusion Cloud implementations, BI Publisher, OTBI, Oracle API's, and OIC middleware, this role suits a seasoned professional with a background in agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Analyze and evaluate business requirements, providing recommendations on the nature, scope, and complexity of solutions. Work closely with Business Analysts and
  • Stakeholders to design and develop solutions meeting business requirements.
  • Design and develop Oracle Fusion Cloud extensions, conversions, integrations, and reports. Create reports and dashboards for reporting and analytics business needs.
  • Design and build integrations between Oracle and other On-Premise and Cloud Applications. Develop extensions using appropriate tools for Oracle Fusion Cloud or
  • FCCS.
  • Develop and maintain automated data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load large volumes of data from diverse sources into relational
  • databases utilizing SQL, stored procedures, functions and other database technologies to move data.
  • Ensure the quality, integrity, and security of data by implementing data validation, data cleansing, and data governance processes.
  • Work on necessary new system developments, enhancements and bugs utilizing an agile software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Optimize and fine-tune data processes and systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, data processing jobs, and database performance issues including off hours support when necessary.
  • Design & implement efficient data models and schemas to support data analysis, reporting, and visualization needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging data engineering technologies, tools, and best practices, and recommend improvements to existing data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate data engineering solutions into applications and software products.
  • Provide day-to-day production support and period-close support. Participate in all phases of the Project Lifecycle.
  • Document data engineering processes, data models, and system configurations for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in developing in Oracle Fusion Cloud – Application Composer, Visual Builder, and PaaS Solutions using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL programming.
  • 3+ years of experience with .NET (C# / VB), SQL, and JSON and XML data interchange formats for scalable, high-availability API integrations.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Oracle API’s as well as REST/SOAP Web Services, Oracle APIs, FBDI, and ADFdi.
  • 2-3 years of experience with full lifecycle implementations of Oracle ERP applications OR home-grown web applications using Software development lifecycle methodologies, agile delivery methods, and DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications (Experience that is a plus to have):

  • HTML, CSS, Javascript (NodeJS / Ember).
  • ASP / ASP.NET., .Net Core.
  • 2+ years of experience with BI Publisher and OTBI for report development.
