What You'll Be Doing
As a pivotal member of our team, you'll be at the forefront of application development, with a strong emphasis on test automation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in the entire application development lifecycle, with a sharp focus on bolstering our test automation capabilities.
- Spearheading the introduction and enhancement of automated tests, ensuring robustness and reliability.
- Crafting, extending, and maintaining test suites and frameworks to uphold the highest standards of quality.
- Collaborating closely with software engineers and product owners to define testing requirements and drive continuous improvement.
- Pioneering advancements in automation and continuous testing practices, exploring new frameworks and technologies to enhance our processes.
What You'll Bring to the Table
We're looking for someone who brings a blend of technical prowess, problem-solving acumen, and a passion for innovation. Specifically, you should possess:
- Proficiency in documenting APIs using tools like Postman, facilitating seamless collaboration and testing within the team.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git, adept at managing Postman collections and environments.
- A keen eye for identifying and resolving issues in end-to-end tests, coupled with proficiency in debugging using tools like Cypress or Playwright.
- A solid understanding and appreciation of the benefits of automated testing, with the ability to ascertain the quality of software components.
- Strong familiarity with QA methodologies such as functional, integration, acceptance, and unit testing, complemented by a spirit of technical inquisitiveness.
What We Require
In addition to the above, we're seeking candidates with:
- A deep understanding of Postman, including its features, capabilities, and best practices.
- Familiarity with either Cypress or Playwright, with hands-on experience in test management.
- Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs, alongside experience with observability tooling such as Grafana and Kibana.
- A knack for simulating complex multi-system scenarios using standard tools and frameworks.
