The Role

We are looking for a seasoned Data Analysis leader to oversee and guide our group of Data Analysts working on enterprise client engagements. The Data Analysis team is responsible for delivering insights and actionable recommendations to Wpromote clients based on their business and marketing measurement needs. Typical analyses involve working with our Data & Media Strategy teams to optimize media investment across platforms, build bespoke marketing audiences, or analyze general marketing behavior trends that guide decisions.

In this role, you will oversee a team delivering data-driven insights and solutions to optimize client marketing campaigns. You'll collaborate with Data Strategy to develop new analytics and data products, leveraging your expertise in statistics and machine learning. The candidate will also have strong leadership skills, the ability to organize and document solutions, and a strong work ethic that can lead a team of Data Analysts to deliver best-in-class analyses and insights to solve clients’ complex business problems.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $120,000 - $150,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.

This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and you must be an active employee in good standing and not on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible for the annual bonus.

You Will Be

  • Leading a team of 8-9 data analysts to synthesize large amounts of data using advanced data analytic and statistical tools.
  • Leveraging statistical and machine learning tools to build innovative analyses and data products to solve complex measurement problems for clients.
  • Scaling solutions by ensuring new solutions are reproducible, properly scoped, and the Data Analysts are properly trained to execute.
  • Defining standards & practices for educating stakeholders (both internal & external) and ensuring awareness of solutions we have developed to meet clients’ measurement needs.
  • Partnering with the Data Strategy team, building out value propositions, positioning, capabilities, and case studies of Digital Intelligence offerings.
  • Overseeing analytic support for execution and delivery of analytics engagements across clients.
  • Defining new processes & resources required to optimize team performance and provide predictable, scalable delivery of solutions to our clients.
  • You Must Have

  • 5+ years experience in leading analysis of digital marketing activities.
  • Proficiency in R/Python and SQL.
  • Understanding of common Machine Learning algorithms & packages (Regression, XGBoost, RNN. Clustering, etc.).
  • Experience working with Digital Marketing decision-makers & breaking down complex topics to ensure comprehension across stakeholders with a wide range of measurement knowledge.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the digital measurement ecosystem including, but not limited to, Media Performance Measurement (MMM, MTA, Incrementality).
  • Strong analytic & problem-solving skills.
  • Solid and proven ability to lead a team.
  • The ability to work in a team structure that fosters collaboration.
  • An energetic attitude and a passion for Digital Marketing analytics.
  • Verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand the technical detail behind data utilization for digital marketing and the ability to explain it simply to non-technical audiences.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to work efficiently across multiple teams, clients, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Nice To Have

  • Previous experience in a client-facing role at a performance marketing agency.
  • Experience working with different Ad platforms and Digital Analytics tools.
