Job Scope:

In support of multiple internal stakeholders, develops budgets, conducts monthly forecasting, and builds reporting packages. Additionally, this role may work on various ad hoc financial projects.

Essential Functions

Utilizing a solid understanding of US GAAP and IFRS, manage the preparation of the company’s budgets & forecasts including the annual budget, income statement, cash flow, and headcount forecasting.

Monitor and report on financial performance, review data & investigate variances ensuring alignment and strong communication with budget owners.

Collaborate with internal departments, discuss company plans and agree on future plans as they relate to the budget and forecast.

Conduct strategic analysis of financial data to identify opportunities to improve profitability or increase enterprise value.

Identify new metrics to drive business performance relative to strategic priorities while minimizing risk.

Develop and maintain key metric dashboards and evaluate business intelligence tools.

Identify and implement process and policy improvements.

Perform ad-hoc analysis and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field.

6 or more years experience in financial analysis, corporate budgeting and forecasting.

Experience in the financial or professional services sector with prior Financial Analyst experience.

Highly proficient in spoken and written English.

Technical Requirements

Familiarity with Netsuite, Cube Software, Essbase or similar accounting / budgeting / planning applications preferred.

Familiarity with Tableau or similar Business Intelligence applications.

Advanced Excel: at a minimum, lookup functions, conditional arithmetic, and pivot-tables.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns

Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving ability

Excellent judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in financial modeling using Excel

Proven ability to work effectively across departments and all levels of an organization

Versatility, flexibility, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work with frequently-changing priorities and with team members spanning the globe
