The Role:

Imagine working for CALSTART as an Associate Project Manager of Outreach and Events on our Trucks & Offroad Team. This role is an essential link between the Communications team and the CORE programming team. You will support industry engagement, virtual and in-person events, ride-and-drives, and outreach campaigns to support the larger mission to reduce greenhouse emissions for all of California.

What You'll Do

Coordinate event logistics, manage event participation and support all other event needs.

Coordinate and manage in-person/virtual industry and community events

Support the development and publication of digital and traditional communications, including email, video, press releases, text message campaigns and paid promotions

Coordinate and support community engagement efforts and initiatives like listening sessions, community and industry presentations, survey development and distribution, event participation and all other community engagement efforts and initiatives

Support the development of digital and print collateral, including fact sheets, promotional graphics, educational brochures, PowerPoint Presentations and all other collateral

What You'll Bring To The Table:

Bachelor's Degree

1 year experience with public speaking, community engagement, outreach, and supporting communications deliverables

1 year experience in event coordination and tabling

1 year experience supporting and executing outreach and communications plans

Multimedia skills such as WordPress, Zoom, and graphic design (Canva okay)

Ability to speak Spanish is preferable, but not required

Excellent verbal and written communication

Creative and critical thinking skills

Attention to detail

Customer service and time management skills

CALSTART values transparency and strives to provide as much information regarding compensation as possible. The complete salary range for this role is $52,000-$67,000. Pay for this role will typically be from $52,000-$57,000 as we determine pay based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, internal equity, and other factors relevant to the job.
