Job Summary:

As a Kubernetes Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our Kubernetes infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our Kubernetes clusters, as well as providing operational support to our development and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
  • Implement best practices for Kubernetes configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications on Kubernetes.
  • Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Monitor system performance and capacity, and implement scaling strategies as needed.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities for Kubernetes clusters.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Kubernetes and containerization.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience working with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Strong understanding of containerization concepts and technologies, including Docker.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, particularly Terraform.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
