We’re looking for an innovative Staff Data Scientist to join our Growth Leadership Team, where our mission is to dream big, start small, and move fast. What you'll do at BioRender:

  • Collaborate with product managers, product design, engineering and marketing stakeholders to optimize overall product growth performance.
  • Proactively identify 0-1 growth product opportunities and optimization strategy through exploratory analysis, hypothesis testing using advanced statistical methods, driving changes where needed for product roadmap development.
  • Build statistical models and develop advanced experimentation methods, such as synthetic control, and diff-in-diff to measure marketing’s impact globally and across BioRender’s product lines.
  • Support data and modeling needs that influence top line company KPIs working closely with marketing, fp&a, and revenue operations in areas such as attribution modeling, growth quantitative modeling, lead/propensity scoring modeling, time series forecasting and goal setting, and foundational data models
  • Work with data scientists and Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) leaders across the organization to up-level baseline data insights and experimentation strategy across all product pods
  • What we value:

  • Proficiency in SQL and modeling in R/Python
  • 3+ years industry experience and advanced degree (master or above) in quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent practical experience
  • Deep knowledge of experiment design and causal inference, strong analytical and causal reasoning mindset
  • Ability to translate quantitative findings into actionable insights and influence business decisions.
  • Expertise in statistical modeling, econometrics modeling, and machine learning
  • Bonus Points:

  • System thinking and creativity to solve complex problems by going deep to understand its core drivers
  • Strong Stakeholder management
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, FP&A teams or revenue-focussed teams on common growth marketing attribution systems e.g., Media Mix Model, Customer LTV, Ads platforms, time series forecasting model
