We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineering for our Edge Networks, to help us maintain and grow our OnPrem systems. You will need to be able to understand the importance of observability, how to automate and use CI/CD tools to deploy your IaC, and have the ability to adhere to the best practices on secure deployment of resources along with a good understanding of configuration management. You will ensure our network’s resilience and availability using a variety of tools and improve our existing processes to keep us on the Edge. This is a full-time role and includes being a part of on-call rotations.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working with highly scalable applications
- 4+ years experience with managing and deploying IaC via Ansible
- 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on IX transits and eBGP
- 2+ years of experience with DNS
- 2+ years of proficiency working and managing low latency networks
- Proficiency working with monitoring & observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus & Grafana, Loki, etc
- Proficiency following best security practices for OnPrem resources
- Experience working remotely
- Join in on on-call rotations
Bonus points for:
- Experience with Ansible Tower
- Experience with shell / python scripting
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
At DNSFilter You Will:
- Maintain and operate DNSFilter edge devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to IX transits and eBGP
- Optimize AnyCast network BGP peerings to lower latency
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain linux operating systems and applications using Ansible.
- Develop and implement capacity planning strategies to ensure optimal system performance and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Implement and enforce security implementations to protect systems and data
- Set and enforce high standards of observability and IaC
- Be part of our on-call rotation to ensure 99.999% availability
