Fi is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer!

You have a minimum of 4 years of experience working as a data scientist or machine learning engineer, developing machine learning models for deployment.

Possess strong skills in signal processing and time series analysis, ideally using accelerometer or other high-frequency sensor data.

Demonstrate experience in deploying models to a live production environment, with additional experience using Databricks being a plus.

Proficient in advanced Python, including scikit-learn and NumPy/SciPy. Familiarity with Tensorflow or PyTorch is also a plus.

Expertise in data querying and wrangling, utilizing SQL or Spark

Responsibilities

As Fi's first full-time machine learning engineer, you'll play a key role in developing models to enhance user-facing product features. Collaborating with the data team, you'll analyze data from Fi's collar sensors, leveraging your expertise in signal processing to create feature extraction code for our high-frequency time series data. Additionally, you'll work closely with firmware engineers to implement this code on our hardware. Using Databricks, you'll design and validate machine learning algorithms to capture various aspects of dog behavior.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $150,000 - $210,000 . The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. This position is also eligible for equity compensation.
