The Globalization Tech team’s mission is to make experiencing Netflix feel immersive and meaningful, no matter what language you speak. To achieve this, our team creates localization and operational software used by Netflix internal employees and a multitude of vendors around the world. Our roles require both autonomy and self-direction within each person’s purview but also a company-wide, strategic mindset that ensures your work contributes to the overall success of the business. This will be a remote-friendly role, with the freedom to set a flexible work-from-home schedule. This role would be best for candidates located in California or in the Pacific time zone, as monthly in-person travel will be required to collaborate with stakeholders and partners in Los Angeles, CA and Los Gatos, CA.

Prototype new features, and continually improve existing ones, to optimize global vendor localization workflows.

Conduct user research and usability studies to gather data that will inform design decisions.

Communicate design strategy, frameworks, and prototypes effectively to developers and stakeholders.

Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data scientists, tech writers, and business teams to develop and iterate upon new concepts and facilitate product execution.

Advocate for the users within the organization and foster a culture of user-centric design.

ABOUT YOU…

A passionate energy for great design and amplifying our team culture.

8+ years as a Product Designer (or equivalent experience) in the B2B2C space, leading high-impact initiatives from concept to execution in technical business areas.

A broad portfolio that showcases deep interaction and problem-solving skills, specifically case studies that demonstrate expertise and leadership with complex business platforms (at various stages of product maturity).

Track record of using user insights to drive business impact.

Understanding of complex workflows designed to scale across diverse, global operations teams.

Experience contributing to and consuming component-based design systems.

Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating a vision and aligning stakeholders.
