As the Senior Accountant at Panther Labs, you will serve as a trusted partner to the VP of Finance and be responsible for accounting operations including helping lead our month-end close, internal controls, AR, AP, spend management, compliance, first financial audit, ERP implementation and special projects.

The Responsibilities
- Assist VP of Finance with accounting operations
- Ensure accounting records are GAAP compliant across the financial statements
- Review sales contracts and create invoices and billing schedules
- Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process for areas, as assigned
- Work with VP Finance on reporting, flux analysis, and budget variance
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders evaluate solutions that will drive back-office efficiency and scalability (e.g. automated billing, quote-to-cash)
- Establish accounting and finance best practices for policies, process, and controls
The Requirements
- 2-5 years of demonstrated growth in accounting, ideally with some public accounting experience
- Netsuite experience a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively at all levels
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Other system experience such as Bill.com, Expensify, and Salesforce are preferred
- CPA strongly preferred
Cash compensation range:
$85,000 - $110,000 USD AnnuallyThe cash compensation above includes base salary and on-target commission for employees in eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all full-time Pantherinos are eligible to participate in our equity plan to receive Incentive Stock Options (ISO). Individual compensation packages are based on a few factors unique to each candidate, including their location, experience, and expertise, and may vary from the above-mentioned range.
