We are seeking a Senior User Experience Researcher to manage and conduct user research with multi-disciplined teams throughout the product development process. From discovery toimplementation and continuous product improvement, you will collaborate with ProductManagers, Engineers, and Designers to uncover user insights that help us build better products.Join us in the transformation of the legal industry and play a pivotal role in shaping the future ofthe practice of law.

Role responsibilities:

  • Proven ability to interact with customers and empathize with their needs.
  • Work alongside designers, product managers and other stakeholders in product teamsto identify and enable research opportunities throughout the product design anddevelopment lifecycle.
  • Lead research studies using methodologies including generative design research andcontextual inquiry, participatory design workshops, interviews, formative andsummative usability studies, and quantitative methods, such as surveys and dataanalytics.
  • Lead empathy and design-thinking workshops to drive cross-functional collaborationthat translates research findings into actionable product goals and direction.
  • Synthesize findings into meaningful themes and actionable insights, then expertly sharethese results with a variety of audiences, including key stakeholder updates.
  • Add to research findings with data from other sources including analytics, customersupport records, sales contacts, etc.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to add to our customer knowledge outside of projects.
  • Evangelize customer insights with internal product and customer groups, leveragingcross-functional communication and collaboration methods.
  • Collaborate with UX Researchers and Designers across geographies to contribute to theteam’s advancement develop new practices and methodologies, etc.
  • Coach and mentor others in the user experience team to contribute to Relativity’s ethosof continuous improvement and development
  • Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, User Experience Design or Research, or similardiscipline
  • Experience working embedded in product teams
  • Experience working in SaaS products
  • Minimum qualifications:

  • At least 5 years’ professional experience in user research with an emphasis on researchrelated to software and digital experiences.
  • Experience planning and conducting user interviews and product concept testing andusability testing.
  • Experience working with Agile development environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
