About the team + role

We are looking for a self-starter with international experience who has demonstrated strong execution and program management skills for the position of Director of Enterprise International. This role will lead the execution of our global expansion, coordinating across functional teams to deliver on our international strategy by ensuring successful product launches and business expansion in various foreign jurisdictions for Robinhood.

The right candidate enjoys working in an exciting, fast paced, and collaborative environment. This role will work with executives and team members across various functions of Robinhood, including Finance, Legal, HR, Business and Product.

It is preferred that this role is located in one of the office locations listed on this job description which will align with our in-office working environment. This position is only eligible for remote work in limited geographies within the US where we do not have physical office locations. What you’ll do
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination to relevant and/or impacted internal and external stakeholders.
  • Actively identify, assess and manage risks to the success of Robinhood’s international strategy by highlighting key issues and providing effective recommendations to stakeholders to assist leadership in decision making.
  • Provide strategic assessments, including but not limited to cost-benefit and risk analyses, forecasting both short and long-term outcomes, and evaluating the implications of international operating models in a complex business environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and prioritization within the overall international expansion strategy roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategically engage external stakeholders, such as regulators, development agencies, partners, and advisors.
  • Build and refine scalable processes to accelerate international expansion, including identifying optimization opportunities across locations and business units.
  • Demonstrate analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex paradigms to unblock obstacles.
What you bring
  • 12+ years of experience in project management, international and M&A integration
  • Ability to manage global programs and initiatives with significant complexity and risk for the impacted Business units and function
  • Broad knowledge across financial technology (brokerage, crypto, etc.) with the strong ability to identify interdependencies early and drive resolution is a plus
  • Proven ability to build relationships with, and influence all levels within an organization, from senior management to technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Strong/excellent oral and written communication skills, including composing and presenting business and technical material to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience identifying and resolving issues independently with a solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgment.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills – ability to define and structure problems, collect and analyze data, and synthesize defendable recommendations into an action plan
  • Ability to combine business and operational concepts to lead multi-faceted and highly complex GTM efforts
  • Experience on GTM strategy projects and scaling new technology products is a plus
