About the role
Teamshares is looking for a manager to lead our data science and analytics efforts. This person will have a critical role in how we leverage our data to improve our business and be a leader in the tech org at Teamshares.
What you’ll do
Be an advocate for how data can give Teamshares a competitive advantage by forming a vision for how we can use data science methodologies to improve our business
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and peers in the Data Science & Analytics function more broadly, fostering an environment of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
Build predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques used for classification and regression. Assess model performance and communicate with stakeholders.
Foster a data driven culture by proactively elevating metrics reporting and understanding
Guide development of new and more sophisticated applications of data
Collaborate with partners in product and finance to translate business needs into suitable technical solutions with the appropriate level of detail.
Derive insights from data to improve our understanding of our network companies, their journey, and the effectiveness of our tactics to improve financial performance Who you are
2+ years experience as a people manager
Strong experience in developing and implementing an analytic vision to solve business-relevant problems, as well as motivating and leading teams to successful implementation.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Prior experience in delivering impact using statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners as well as senior leadership
Effective storytelling ability with experience leading business conversations with senior leadership.
Experience at a high-growth company that has undertaken an IPO. Additional Information
