Role description:

As the Lead Data Analyst, you will define metrics to track team performance, optimize request execution time, and streamline data management processes. You'll drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, implementing advanced data science solutions, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Your role involves applying agile methodologies to ensure timely project delivery and prioritizing requests for efficient resource allocation.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the data strategy and roadmap that enables data to become an enterprise-wide asset driving revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Strategically plan the insourcing/outsourcing and right-sizing delivery capability as it relates to data management to meet the demands of the business.
  • Actively pursue data management efficiencies within internal and customer warehouses, across the organization.
  • Standardize data management methods, tools, processes, and practices, which are used in data analysis for internal and commercial projects, to drive efficiency and re-use of data.
  • Work with the Value Stream Leads to understand the desired data capabilities and support them in the definition and prioritization of data-related initiatives and the definition of data products in line with the data strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead the development and enforcement of policies and guidelines for data management and data governance.
  • Develop the best approach and methods for digital campaign analysis
  • Gradual development of more advanced solutions using Data Science and Machine Learning (personalization, recommendations, etc.)
  • Support the career development and pathways for the Data Analysis team.
  • Use the experience of inspiring and motivating teams to fully engage in their work to empower them to explore the boundaries of their ability.
  • Provide learning and experience sharing with colleagues in the team
  • Team Lead activities (Project Managers and Delivery Managers support, provide direction and guidance, organizing tasks and setting development goals, team performance evaluation from the tech part, develop team strengths and improve weaknesses, etc.)
  • Participate in meetings with clients, and act as an expert in the area.
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance within the area for the internal team as well as for the clients.
  • Improve the quality of services provided and assist in expanding the number of services provided to the client.
  • Required skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a data and platform engineering role or related functions.
  • Scaled Agile methodology experience, applying Agile and/or Scrum as a way of working to deliver technology products.
  • Data leader with a track record of successfully defining the technology future for an enterprise, articulating a vision, and mobilizing direct and indirect resources to conceive, build, launch, and continuously improve data products.
  • Development & execution experience and ability to provide technical inputs to a low-level design.
  • Pharma (or FMCG) domain experience.
  • Knowledge of best practices and industry standards in data management capabilities (e.g., data strategy, acquisition, governance, quality, scouting, metadata management, reporting, MDM) and a strong understanding of the data lifecycle.
  • Experience handling large-scale data and/or big data platforms and tools.
  • A goal-driven leader with the ability to build high-performing teams, motivating, mobilizing, and coaching employees to meet high standards.
  • Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Experience with disruptive technologies and capabilities including IOT, Data Science, AI, Block Chain.
  • Track record of successful large-scale transitions of insourcing and outsourcing of professional data services.
  • Must have strong experience managing cross-functional teams, including third-party service providers.
  • Strong project and program management skills, ranging from minor technology upgrades to major shifts in technology approach.
  • Good knowledge of cybersecurity threat environments and how to build secure data platforms/infrastructure.
  • English – Upper-Intermediate and higher.
